About the Artist
My name is Amanda GiannettiDeciding to pursue art has not been an easy path, I faced the many troubles an artist usually faces. The "you're not going to make it as an artist" the self doubt, and wondering if what I'm doing really is the right path. No matter what though, I've got this little voice that tells me not to give up. It's been hard, it really has, putting myself out there for the world to see. What's really helped me though, is having my friends, family and family at my side and giving me the support that I need. Not only with my art choices but also personal ones too. So, it's also for them that I want to succeed. I am not only about art though, while it is a big part of my life, it's not all that I enjoy doing. My hobbies also include gaming and reading books. My genres for games usually falls in the lines of rpgs, mmos, building type games.. I love the sims, and zoo tycoon; Mystery, one of my top favorites for both games and books. I love to read fantasy as well, it can be full out or a modern day mixed with fantasy elements. I'm a sucker for the romance novels, mostly your teen dramas and young adults. Mostly though, I just like a good read. I like to bake, a lot. I am an emotional baker as well (haha) I like things to be spot on and when I make an error (adding too much flour, or missing an ingredient) I'll get a little overwhelmed. Of course it all usually turns out alright. I like to try new recipes, tons that I've pulled for Allrecipes, cook books, and some Facebook recipes as well. The fun part is tweaking the recipes from cakes to cupcakes and pies to layered cakes. It's an adventure all on its own.
To begin, I'd like to talk about my journey. Art has always been a part of my life in some way. Whether I was doodling in my books or taking classes in school, it was always there, and it still is.
